Structural Burn Building Training - DSFS Georgetown

On Monday March 21, 2005 the members of the Frankford Volunteer Fire Co. participated in structural evolutions training at the Delaware State Fire School burn building in Georgetown. The instructor for the night was Scott Lawson. New members had a chance to experience first hand a live structural burn, as well as the experienced members had a chance to teach and hone in on their own skills. Training like this allows us the chance to try new techniques such as use of a smooth bore nozzle. Every member is encouraged to attend training sessions like this. It is only one of the many ways we prepare for the multitude of emergencies in our community.
