Serious MVC - Reed Street

On July 9, 2005 the Frankford Volunteer Fire Company, SCEMS Medic 103, and Delaware State Police Trooper II were alerted for a serious motor vehicle accident on Reed Street in Frankford. First Engine/Rescue 76-3 responded with Chief Robbie Murray. They arrived on scene to find one vehcile with serious damage with one patient ejected from the vehicle. Chief Murray assumed the command of the incident directing crews to assist with patient care, and secure the vehicle. Next, Engine 76-1 arrived with Deputy Chief Tommy Bacon. Deputy Bacon would then assume the command, as Chief Murray was needed to assist with a high priority patient. The patient was transported in Ambulance B-76 with both medics from SCEMS medic 103 to the FVFC parking lot to meet with DSP TRPR II. The patient was flown directly to Christiana ER for treatment. All Units were diverted from this incident to a second reported serious MVC on Frankford School Road.
