MVC with Extrication - Frankford School Road
Saturday, July 9, 2005
While on the scene of a serious MVC at Reed Street, the Frankford Volunteer Fire Company and SCEMS Medic 103 were alerted for a second reported serious MVC on Frankford School Road. With the patient being transported to the landing zone for DSP TRPR II all units cleared that incident and responded to this one. First arriving Engine 76-1 with Deputy Chief Tommy Bacon, arrived to find a two vehicle MVC with one vehicle requiring extrication. At that time Deputy Bacon assumed the command of this incident. Next, Engine/Rescue 76-3 with Asst. Chief Bryan Murray arrived with instructions to prepare the tools to take two doors off the drivers side of the vehicle. At this time Asst. Chief John Wright was assigned to be the Extricaiton Officer. With the members of the FVFC making short work of the extrication, both patients were transported to Beebe Medical Center for further evaluation. We would also like to thank the Roxana VFC for assisting with one ambulance to the scene for patient transport.
