New President Sworn In - Frankford Volunteer Fire Co. Station 76

After serving 14 years as President of the Frankford Volunteer Fire Company, Life Member Jack Bare decided it was time to step aside and take a break from the demands of the President's position - a decision we're certain his wife Phyllis is delighted with. Jack has provided 51 years of dedicated service to the Frankford Volunteer Fire Company, holding nearly every position in the company. Jack quipped, "The only position I've never held was Ambulance Captain and head janitor." His presidency spanned from 1974-76, 1994-96, and from 2003 to March of 2010. The membership wishes to thank Jack for his many years of devoted service to the fire company and the citizens of Frankford. We also welcome the newly elected President, Russell Hooper. Russell is also a Life Member of the fire company having served for more than 30 years. Russell has held the positions of Assistant Chief, Ambulance Captain, and Ambulance Lieutenant in addition to serving on many committees for the fire company. We wish Russell much success in his newly elected position.
