Fire Prevention - Frankford Elementary School

On Wednesday 10-17-2012 the Frankford and Dagsboro Fire Companies, Sussex County EMS, and Sussex County Division of Communications conducted the annual Fire Prevention activities at the Frankford Elementary School. Children were able to observe fire engines, an ambulance, and paramedic truck along with their special equipment. In addition, they learned the importance of calling 9-1-1 during an emergency. Some children were able to put on a fire coat and helmet to spray water from a fire hose while others went for a ride on top of a fire engine. The children had a wonderful time and enjoyed learning about fire prevention.
